Alabama Injury Report
Alabama football has been plagued with injuries during its preseason camp. Head coach Nick Saban has listed several players on his injury report following Sunday’s practice. One of the major names on the list is wide receiver Cameron Latu, who is ‘day to day’ and will miss some time during camp.
Earl Little Jr.
The Earl Little Jr. injury report is one of the most important pieces of information for any NFL player. Earl is the son of legendary NFL player Earl Little, who played for the Miami Dolphins, the Cleveland Browns, and the Green Bay Packers. He is a standout athlete in high school and has earned a football scholarship to play at the University of Alabama. He has a 4.0 GPA and will graduate in May of 2022. His father was a three-time Pro Bowl player and played nine years for the Miami Dolphins.
Bryce Young
Bryce Young is one of the most highly recruited players in college football. Last season he won the Heisman Trophy, and he led Ohio State to the National Championship Game. Unfortunately for the Buckeyes, Young is now dealing with a sprained AC joint. In the second quarter, Young landed on his shoulder and felt significant pain. He went to the locker room for an evaluation and was not expected to play against Texas A&M.
Christian Leary
Christian Leary is not the only running back to be hurt for the Crimson Tide this season. Louisville transfer Tyler Harrell is not 100% either, and his injury is likely to take a little longer than expected to heal. Despite his injury, Harrell appears to be on the radar for the season, but his status is still unclear.
JoJo Earle
JoJo Earle has not practiced since the start of the season and has suffered a fractured foot. Coach Nick Saban said that Earle will be out until at least Oct. 1, but was less specific when asked about an exact date. The injury is not serious enough to prevent the sophomore from playing against Arkansas, but it is an important one for the team. Having Earle in the lineup is crucial, as Alabama focuses a lot on punt returns.
Ja’Corey Brooks
Ja’Corey Brooks is a sophomore wide receiver for the Alabama Crimson Tide. Brooks has been a key contributor in the Alabama passing game this year. He has six receptions for 117 yards and two touchdowns. Brooks is a threat for a starting job and has been a standout for the Crimson Tide this season.
Brian Robinson
There’s not much to worry about when it comes to the latest Brian Robinson injury report. The running back has made progress and can be expected to play in Week 5 of the NFL season against the Tennessee Titans. During the preseason, Robinson was hurt in a carjacking attempt and has since been placed on the Non-Football Injury Reserve.
