Phil Collins in Bad Health

It is no secret that Phil Collins is in bad health. He suffers from diabetes, pancreatitis, and has a drop foot. In addition, he has been the victim of several fractures over the years. These injuries have impacted his ability to perform, which is why he has had to cancel two gigs this year.

He suffers from diabetes

In 2017, the legendary singer revealed that he suffers from diabetes. The singer was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and underwent a hyperbaric chamber treatment for the condition. The procedure helped him to treat a painful foot abscess, which was caused by diabetes. In addition, Collins has experienced acute pancreatitis, a complication of diabetes that involves inflammation and swelling of the pancreas. Fortunately, he is recovering well.

Phil Collins was almost dead after suffering from acute pancreatitis in 2012. This is a severe infection that damages the pancreas and can cause extreme pain, vomiting, and even death. The singer ended up in rehab in Wiltshire after drinking heavily during a vacation in the Caribbean. Fortunately, his condition has been treated, but he will remain under close observation for the next 24 hours.

He has a pancreatitis flare-up

Phil Collins has been plagued with bad health for years. He recently underwent back surgery and is unable to hold a drumstick. His illness may mean he will no longer be able to perform. Several years ago, he was diagnosed with pancreatitis. The affliction can cause internal bleeding and pain. A flare-up can lead to severe pancreatitis.

Phil Collins has been battling health problems for over a decade, and he now uses a wheelchair and walking stick to get around. He has suffered several injuries over the past decade, including an injured vertebrae in his upper neck, which has caused crippling nerve damage. The rock star is also dealing with pancreatitis, which causes the pancreas to swell. He also suffers from foot drop, and is forced to wear orthopedic shoes.

Phil Collins has a drop foot

The drummer for Genesis has been diagnosed with drop foot, a condition that can affect one or both feet. It affects the muscles of the foot and is caused by a damaged nerve in the leg. This condition can be corrected with walking aids and physiotherapy. Collins will need to wear special shoes and orthotics to support his foot, and he will need a cane for assistance when walking.

Phil Collins’ drop foot was first noticed when he fell backwards while performing in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 2017. However, the singer was in good spirits when he arrived, and he even signed an autograph for a fan before the show. In 2015, Collins had a serious back injury, resulting in him needing surgery. He was then hospitalized for observation for an overnight stay.

He has suffered from a series of fractures over the years

Phil Collins is one of the most influential musicians of his generation, and he is famous for his distinct drumming style. However, over the years, the musician has suffered from several fractures and injuries. In 2016, he told Billboard magazine that he was walking on sticks after a back surgery. He also revealed that he suffers from nerve damage.

In addition to his spinal injuries, the singer has also suffered from diabetes, which resulted in an infected diabetic abscess on his foot. These injuries forced him to cancel two concerts in 2017 and forced him to rely on a cane.

He is a type 2 diabetic

Phil Collins revealed that he was a type 2 diabetic, and has undergone a hyperbaric chamber treatment to treat his condition. He also has to use a cane to walk. In the summer of 2017, he fell and hit his head on a chair. This caused a severe gash near his eye. Afterward, he had to cancel two shows. He also developed a foot drop that required him to use a cane to walk.

In 2012, Phil Collins almost died from acute pancreatitis, which is an inflammation of the pancreas. This condition can lead to severe pain, vomiting, and death. The singer ended up in a rehab facility in Wiltshire after he got sick while on vacation in the Caribbean. Eventually, he had to stop drinking and underwent major back surgery.
